The Meritt Model, which developed a unique product and created a new market that exceeded $250 Million per year sales, can be applied to several products and generate millions of dollars in profits. Meritt International seeks unique products that are currently non existent and fulfill a void in the market.  Our company exclusively focuses on new inventions that have a potential to sell large quantities in retail and/or commercial markets. We develop products to a prototype stage and then we approach companies to license the manufacturing and distribution of the products. 

Our company does not charge up front fees for the services we perform. We are not a fee based company; rather we make money when the Inventor begins to make money. We rarely charge flat fees for limited projects or services requested.

Understand that we will not take ownership of any patent/product, trademark or the like, we will only invest time an resources to develop the project and obtain revenue from this. 

Our services vary depending on the projects' potential and requirements. We first evaluate the project to estimate its viability and then make a decision as to whether we accept or decline the project. As a note, we accept 1 out of 20 projects presented to us.

As stated previously, services vary on a case by case basis and may include but are not limited to the following:

Our basic criteria for products are:

1. Products must not exist.
2. Products create a new market or expand an existing market and competition is low.
3. Products must have a sales potential of at least 100,000 pieces.
4. Inventions must be accompanied with a pending or preferably an issued patent

PARTNERS

Design engineering, manufacturing and distribution is conducted via partners, not by Meritt International. Our reputation for success is very important for us to continue in business; therefore we must be very selective in choosing our partners.

All partners must meet the following standards:

1. Financially Stable over 3 years
2. Have a proven track record of success
3. ISO Certified (for contract manufacturers)
4. Have the resources to satisfy their commitments

We have built strategic alliances with a number of different companies throughout the world. Below is a list of some of our partners:

Design:

We have partners that offer graphic design, web design, technical illustrations and writers located in the US, Mexico and various countries in Asia.

Engineering and Manufacturing:

We have partnerships with various manufacturers, many of them who have engineering and proto typing capabilities. Their areas of manufacture range from Textile to Electronics.  Most of these partner companies are based in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. We also have manufacturing partners in Mexico.

Promotion, Sales and Distribution:

We have partnerships with PR agents, advertising agencies, sales and marketing representatives, general merchandisers, and distributors.  We have established relationships with major retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, Costco, Sam's Club, Home Shopping Network, Good Guy's, Skymall, AJ Prindle, Herrington, Cabela's...etc.  We also have relationships with Chrysler and General Motors who have licensed our products.

After Sales Support:

Many of the licensed companies provide after sales support (warranty and technical support) for the products, but in some cases they don't.  We have the relationships with the companies that provide customer and technical support, including repair and refurbishment to factory specifications.
